Read Kindly offers a free partial read and a $3.99 USD one-time unlock with no subscription. After your explicit consent, the free partial read uses quiz results, an optional reflection, and optional screenshots together. Lemon Squeezy processes checkout as Merchant of Record.

Audience and upload rule
The service is intended for adults aged 18 or older in the United States. It does not promise deployed geolocation. Before using the quiz, adding a reflection, or uploading a chat, you must confirm that both you and the other person discussed are at least 18. Before submitting any input, manually remove names, usernames, phone numbers, email addresses, profile photos, locations, account identifiers, payment information, health, sexual, religious or spiritual information, and other identifying information about yourself or another person. Do not submit material about anyone under 18, intimate images, threats, or emergency or crisis content.
Free quiz
The free quiz asks 15 reflection questions and calculates a score from 0 to 100 locally in the browser. It does not ask for your exact age, email address, or identity. Until you select “Get my free read,” quiz answers and the exact score remain in your browser. By selecting that action, you consent to the pre-payment transfer described below: the 15 normalized quiz responses, score, and five quiz dimensions are sent with any optional reflection and permitted screenshots to OpenAI for one analysis. They are not sent to our logs, analytics, Lemon Squeezy, Google Analytics, Google Ads, or another provider.
Optional personal reflection
When you select “Get my free read,” you may choose to send an optional 30–600 character reflection about your own experience with your 15 normalized quiz responses, score, and five quiz dimensions. The reflection, quiz results, and any permitted screenshots are encrypted in our backend before and after processing within the limits below, and are sent together only to the OpenAI API before payment. They are not sent to Lemon Squeezy, Google Analytics, Google Ads, or another provider. They are not included in our logs or analytics.
Do not include names, contact details, health, sexual, religious or spiritual information, details about anyone under 18, threats, or emergencies. Screenshots are optional and are evidence separate from your own reflection; neither establishes what another person thinks or feels.
What the service processes
Before you select “Get my free read,” the service does not send quiz responses, score, quiz dimensions, reflection, or screenshots to OpenAI. By selecting that action, it performs one free partial analysis before payment and may store the permitted input and the encrypted result in private storage to operate the free result and optional paid unlock. Screenshot data is stored without a filename, IP address, OCR, hash, or chat content in our logs or analytics. The application does not expose screenshots publicly.
Analysis provider
After you select “Get my free read” and before payment, the service uses the OpenAI API once for a unified analysis of the 15 normalized quiz responses, score, five quiz dimensions, optional reflection, and permitted, de-identified screenshots. We set store=false, so we do not ask OpenAI to store the generated response for later retrieval. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default. However, OpenAI’s default safety and abuse-monitoring logs may retain customer content, including prompts and responses, for up to 30 days; eligible customers may separately seek approved Modified Abuse Monitoring or Zero Data Retention controls. This notice does not promise a provider deletion period or result.
Report retention and deletion
In our own storage, encrypted input and the encrypted free result are retained for up to 60 minutes without payment. We may delete raw input earlier after a terminal result where possible. If payment is confirmed before that free-result window ends, the encrypted full report, entitlement, and webhook evidence are retained for up to 24 hours. A PDF is generated on demand from that report and transmitted when requested; it is not stored as a file, is not public, and does not contain embedded screenshots. It is available only while the report and entitlement remain valid. Purging runs at least hourly and may also run during application requests. Deletion is requested from our app storage when the applicable window ends, but does not delete OpenAI’s separate safety and abuse-monitoring logs described above. We cannot promise exact physical deletion during host downtime or periods without application activity.
Payments
Lemon Squeezy processes the one-time $3.99 USD unlock as Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy processes payment information; Read Kindly does not receive or store a full payment-card number. The app receives payment confirmation and a provider order identifier. Payment unlocks the same encrypted full report; it does not start another OpenAI API analysis.
Operational metrics and Google measurement
The app may retain daily aggregate counts of sessions, analysis starts, and payment events for up to 30 days. It uses an HMAC-based deduplication value for those counts. Those app metrics do not include screenshots, chat text, filenames, AI output, quiz answers, quiz scores, personal reflections, or raw IP addresses. Country is recorded only when supplied by a configured trusted proxy header; otherwise it is recorded as Unknown. The app does not send IP addresses to an external geolocation service.
When enabled on readkindly.love, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) records page views and only these aggregate funnel events: a technically prepared upload, a checkout initiation, and a payment confirmation. We do not send screenshots, chat text, filenames, report content, quiz answers, quiz scores, personal reflections, email addresses, raw IP addresses, or internal order or session identifiers as GA4 event parameters. The installed Google Ads base tag is likewise limited to basic page measurement and does not receive that content or Read Kindly's internal order or session identifiers.
GA4 may use first-party cookies or a pseudonymous client identifier and collect page, session, browser, device, and approximate-location information through its standard implementation. Google states that Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. Google processes Analytics data under its own policies and service settings; Google retention is separate from the app's 30-day aggregate-metrics retention stated above.
The approved GA4 scope does not include User-ID, user-provided data, enhanced conversions, Customer Match, remarketing or audience features, Google Signals, or unnecessary enhanced measurement. GA4 may be linked only to Read Kindly's Google Ads account for aggregate attribution.
